Miniature Shelter in Nature
" To appreciate nature we have to first notice it, admire it, and feel it. The way we see the natural environment shapes the way we treat it. "

We were required to carefully establish a miniature shelter for assigned character which is Judy Hopps using a set of blocks. Before establishing the shelter, we were to conduct a site investigation in Janda Baik to record the consideration process for choosing the site and the placement of the shelter and to record the condition of the site before doing anything to the site and the condition after. Last but not least, we were to present all our findings on the presentation boards.
1st board:
- Comparisons between Judy Hopps and the real animal character itself, a rabbit.

- Classifications, physical characteristics, habitat, adaptation, food chain relationship of the animal.
2nd board:
- Geosphere as the natural setting of site and its biotic and abiotic elements on the Earth's crust.

- Illustration of AL SAKINAH ECO RESORT site plan and our main site on it.
3rd board:
- The Hillside Burrow as the title to our miniature shelter in nature.

- Perspective view of our site and the existing nature elements and also the condition of our site based on our site observation, inventory and evaluation.
4th board:
- Process of establishment and the justifications of the placement of our miniature shelter on the shelter site.
- Consideration criteria when placing it on the shelter site.
5th board:
- Layout, arrangements and the outlook of the shelter

- Activities that can be done by Judy Hopps at the shelter.
6th board:
- Changes that we have made to the natural existing site prior to the construction and the implementation of the shelter.
- Destruction on site and the impacts to the existing site we have caused based on the alterations that we have done.
- Solution that we have made to counter loss the changes we have done at the site.
Reflection
Throughout the project, I have learnt how to differentiate the characteristic of natural elements and to analyse the function of the natural elements and built environment by looking at the natural components, elements, topography and landscape. Besides, I have also learnt how to initiate ideas that relate to natural elements through observation, data collection, evaluation and deliver them by using different techniques.

The TGCs which I have achieved through this assignment include discipline specific knowledge, lifelong learning, thinking and problem solving skills, communication skills, interpersonal skills and also intrapersonal skills.
