My "X" Hometown
“ The built environment provides the setting and backdrop by which we live our lives, and impacts on our senses, our emotions, participation in physical activity and community life, our sense of community, and general wellbeing. "

We were required to visually revisit our hometown to visualize the ambience, built components, social and culture through tangible and intangible components. We were also to choose a town or city of our origin and to choose a specific area to study in detail.
First, we need to study the background and the history of the township, the significant components, the accessibility and other relevant data of the township. We would need to illustrate a map of our township upon as the main reference. Secondly, we need to zoom in our selected areas of the township and to elaborate the built components in detail through tangible and intangible components. Thirdly, we need to identify our favourite part of the area and to justify. As a conclusion, we must describe the issues in the township give ideas of improvement.
Reflection
Throughout the project, I have discovered more places in my hometown which i had never been in there before. It made me appreciate my hometown more and I wish I could visit my hometown more frequent in the future. However, there are some parts of my hometown which should be improved to attract more visitors.
The TGCs which I have achieved in this project include discipline specific knowledge, thinking and problem solving skills and also communication skills.
